About  'Outside In' will show a series of new site-specific photographs of the area surrounding the gallery Eleven Spitalfields in Princelet Street, London E1.  Over the course of several months artist Jane Watt will visit houses and public buildings in the immediate area of Spitalfields and take photographs through windows of different domestic, commercial and public building.  The photographs will capture new vantage points of familiar public landmarks, urban architecture and streets.  The images will also reveal relationships between internal and external spaces in this vibrant and diverse area. The series of photographs will be printed in one colour onto Perspex and backed with dichroic film.  The film gives a subtle variation in colour and reflection of light as the viewer moves around the gallery. In addition to the exhibition in the gallery, there will be four lightboxes visible from the street in Box Gallery, Princelet Street.
